Ros Francis is Head of Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Nuclear Medicine/WA PET Service and is Associate Professor of Molecular Imaging with University of Western Australia. Her research interests in Oncology include semi-quantitative volumetric response evaluation to therapy with FDG PET and the evaluation of novel PET tracers in a number of tumour types including mesothelioma, glioma, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer. More recently she has also collaborated on projects in Neurology, Cardiology, infection imaging and in health economics. She has an interest in personalised medicine and currently supervises three PhD students. In 2014 A/Prof Francis was appointed the inaugural scientific chair of Australasian Radiopharmaceutical Trials Network (ARTnet), which was established to facilitate collaborative multicentre clinical trials with radiopharmaceuticals in Australasia. A/Prof Francis is the Vice President of ANZSNM.
